White Peacock Butterfly Poem
By Pamela Storch
Dear white peacock butterfly,
Emerge, awaken now,
Beginnings do not slumber,
Just release the why or how,
Magnificent, resilient,
Your transformation clear,
Cocoons may now have broken,
Just be present, truly here,
Don’t spend your days in mourning,
For cocoons that ripped and tore,
For death is new beginning,
Learn to fly and you shall soar,
Let go of what has been before,
A caterpillar’s past,
And find your wings are pumping,
For a future moving fast.
