The Sabbath is a Consciousness Poem
By Pamela Storch
The Sabbath is a consciousness,
A hint of worlds to come,
A fraction of the timeless state,
When inside that “OLAM”,
For “OLAMOT” are many,
And “YAMIM” are many seas,
Not only days of portioned time,
The seventh chakra frees,
The snake is not an enemy,
Not for the “other side”,
For there is only ONENESS,
Only ONENESS can reside,
For knowing good and evil,
Is itself what separates,
The mind has its distortions,
Its duality creates,
The world created in the “BET”,
Is “twoness” not “ECHAD”,
For how can there be anything,
Except the “ONE” of GOD,
When understand Gan Eden,
That the sin was not the tree,
Then Sabbath will you live within,
The world of UNITY.
“The Sabbath is a Consciousness Poem” by Pamela Storch is a deeply spiritual and mystical work exploring the true essence of the Sabbath as a state of divine consciousness rather than a single day in time. Through sacred Hebrew references such as Olam, Olamot, and Echad, the poem reveals the spiritual unity underlying creation, the illusion of duality, and the timeless awareness of Oneness. Blending poetry, mysticism, and Kabbalistic insight, this poem invites readers to experience the Sabbath as a doorway into higher consciousness, peace, and divine unity.
