Olives Groves in the City Poem

By Pamela Storch

Land of doves and olive groves,

And budding almond trees,

The date palm’s honey sweet as joy,

A gentle loving breeze,

A pathway to a garden,

Lined with shrubs and needles pine,

The land of milk and honey,

Vineyards flow with sacred wine,

The flowers line the gardens,

Ancient stones on every side,

A biblical oasis,

Deeply rooted landscape wide,

With focus on this moment,

Walking trails and gardens old,

Historic transformation,

In the city now of gold.

Pamela Storch’s Olive Groves in the City is a poetic walk through sacred land—filled with doves, almond trees, date palms, pine, and vines of sacred wine. This reverent, sensory-rich piece honors both ancient tradition and present-moment awareness.

Set in a biblical oasis, the poem flows through garden paths and golden cities, rooted in transformation and spiritual beauty. A meditative piece for those drawn to the deep stillness of holy places and the poetry of peace.
