Off the Cape of Maryland Poem
By Pamela Storch
Off the cape of Maryland,
A seashore by the side,
Within the waters still and vast,
Do light reflections glide,
For countrysides are headed,
For the coastal shores of day,
And light cast by the sunset,
Will surrender to the bay,
With skies of blue and golden hue,
The shores of freedom ring,
And Maryland is rich with life,
The cape and beaches sing.
