Jerusalem Umbrellas Street Poem

By Pamela Storch

Deep in the heart of city streets,
Umbrellas flood the sky,
Jerusalem stone and colors merge,
As fluffy clouds roll by,

Through galleries and trendy shops,
The tourists take their stroll,
The cobblestone and sacred art,
Enrich the tired soul,

For much to do and lots to see,
Unfold before our eyes,
Relax into the peaceful scene,
Let go and realize,

The Holy city built with gold,
Will heal life's troubled way,
For in the now the senses feel,
The longing for today.
