First Star on the Beach at Sunset Poem

By Pamela Storch

Sitting on the silken sand,

As sunset paints the sky,

Like carpet do the waves draw near,

The lapping waves roll by,

The beach’s song enchanted,

As the first star pierces through,

A water blanket on the shore,

The sky still royal blue,

And as the waves come rolling in,

And nightfall paints the scene,

The lighting is magnificent,

With ocean mist serene,

The stillness cannot be described,

Just like the setting sun,

The first star brings the others,

Now the nightfall has begun.

Pamela Storch’s poem “First Star on the Beach at Sunset” captures the magic of twilight by the sea, blending gentle imagery with spiritual symbolism. The first star represents hope, guidance, and new beginnings as the day transitions to night. Ideal for readers seeking peace, reflection, or comfort during life’s transitions, this poem evokes themes of stillness, wonder, and cosmic connection through nature’s evening song.
