Autumn Arising Poem

By Pamela Storch

Like a phoenix arising from the ashes,

The death of the old,

Means the new is rebirthing.

Born anew like the death of a world,

That was never meant to be.

Alive and awake in the victorious springs,

A new existence,

Never before seen by human eyes.

The heart is alive with song and joy.

Never before has love been so fresh,

For life has renewed unto itself.

Healing are the tears of the phoenix,

For the power of healing,

Has been given to those who have suffered.

They have not suffered in vain.

For laughter will fill the hearts of those in pain,

And joy shall replace fear,

Slavery will be replaced,

By magnificent sovereignty.

Hope in the infinite,

And your dreams will be fulfilled.
