A Mountain's Comfort Poem
By Pamela Storch
Still in valleys wide and clear,
A mountain's comfort calls,
With nature carries forth the way,
To nearby waterfalls,
The mountain's ridges hold their form,
Without batting an eye,
The streams and water wash right through,
Take seconds now to dry,
A comfort that is seen and heard,
The heart can understand,
The valleys near and far alike,
Are welcomed in the land,
And as this moment deepens,
Like a herd of ibex still,
Your comfort now shall be restored,
Call forth now does your will.
“A Mountain’s Comfort” by Pamela Storch is a calming reflection on the steadfast presence of mountains and the gentle flow of waterfalls. This nature poem invites readers to find healing and restoration in the quiet strength of valleys and ridges, evoking a deep connection with the land and inner peace.
