A Bridge to the Mountains Poem

By Pamela Storch

Over the bridge, a path beyond,
A staircase long and wide,
Between the reeds of brown and green,
Into the mountainside,

A sky of blue and sunlit hills,
And water frogs below,
A bird lover's oasis,
Wetlands gravel white as snow,

Into the vastness, trails beyond,
And olive trees of green,
The date palm charms with tranquil wind,
Leaves rustling serene,

The mountain's song is calling,
To the sea and bridges near,
Let go of heavy baggage,
For the skies are crystal clear.

“A Bridge to the Mountains” by Pamela Storch paints a tranquil scene of a path leading over a bridge into lush mountainsides, wetlands, and serene palms. The poem invites readers to let go of burdens and embrace nature’s calming song, blending imagery of birds, water frogs, and crystal-clear skies.
