The Lake of Wild Blue
The Lake of Wild Blue
By the lake of wild blue,
With ripples in the sky,
The water's ending long and vast,
With platinum sunlight high,
The clouds beneath the crystal waves,
Reflections long and done,
For is the moonlight lonesome,
Or has midnight just begun,
As daylight turns to darkness,
There is yet a wild ride,
For moonbeams cast their shadow,
And no more is light inside,
The waves will turn at sunset,
On the crystal clouded day,
And wild will the water be,
Go on now, light the way.
