Sunset on the Lake of Dreams

Sunset on the lake of dreams,
A golden shoreline clear,
Purple mountain's majesty,
Pink rolling clouds appear,

Reflections on the peaceful lake,
The buildings line the shore,
A silhouette serene as gold,
Tranquility, allure,

For as the twilight melts the day,
Enchanting, peaceful scene,
A backdrop graced with wonder,
Over mountaintops serene,

The lighting is magnificent,
The scene is strong and wise,
The sun that sets beyond the hills,
Again shall surely rise.
