Rocks Along the Turquoise Shore
Rocks along the turquoise shore,
Washed up beside the sea,
Began to grow a vibrant moss,
In time's eternity,
For if not in the ocean,
Then just where do rocks reside?
And if not of the water,
Do they sit and wait beside?
Now are the rocks there counting?
And with rivers do they flow?
Or are they part of oceans vast,
Their time they have let go,
The answer now is very clear,
They are not rocks at all,
But all part of the ocean,
Rolling with tide's rising call.
