On the Way to the Sea

A narrow path winds through a lush landscape, bordered by vibrant wildflowers and tall grasses. The scene opens up to a serene body of water under a cloudy sky.

On the Way to the Sea

On the way into the sea,
A painted pathway flows,
A cloudscape gains intensity,
As ominous it grows,

For darkened are its shadows cast,
Upon the light blue sky,
Yet neon blues as clear as day,
Ask not, how, when or why,

Like thoughts upon a canvas clear,
Are musings of the mind,
Like shadows cast upon the sky,
With clear blue light behind,

For are you now the doom and gloom,
Afraid of its decay,
Or are you now the canvas,
And the painter, clear as day.
