When in a group mentality, those in the group must conform to certain ways, paths and practices thereby nullifying certain aspects of self in order to do things a certain prescribed way. Yet when we embrace self, nurture self, and care and truly listen to self, we find our own way, our own path, our own unique practices. We then become "the path" showing others how to listen to their own unique callings and way of doing things. For like snowflakes, no two people are truly alike. We all have different makeups, different nervous systems and tolerance levels and different ways our minds and bodies function. When we try to do things like others and be like others, we lose ourselves in the process, and lose the unique gifts only we can give the world. We are only forced to do things a certain way until enough people get tired of that way, and come up with a better one. And that then becomes "the path". Until eventually there is no "way of doing things" when we embrace that we all are different and are given the freedom to each create our own way and our own utopia. What harm can we possibly cause ourselves or each other when we embrace ourselves and each other for who we are, and honor our differences and way of seeing things, yet simultaneously see and love each person as ourselves and honor them as such. And that is quite a utopia indeed.
